Model: Bente

This is my favourite portrait of Bente at the moment. It is also the most recent. Bente is a great model, not only because she has fantastic blue eyes, but also because she lacks the selfconciousness of the elderly (that is, above age 4).
I believe there is some evidence of progress in my portraiture in the portraits I took of Bente. In addition to improving capture, I have learned a lot about postprocessing. For example, this is what the camera produced:
To get the photo above I have applied a couple of techniques that I’ll talk about in some future posts, including a digital cleanup of the peanutbutter on her cheeks.
